Borg Tech

Next up is the Borg Tech tab under the Refinery section. You get to the Borg Tech tab by clicking on the Refinery button in the upper left of the main screen (Figure 158). There are multiple items in this tab that are of value such as: Charged Nanoprobes, Active Nanoprobes, Faction Reputation, and Faction Credits (Figure 159, Figure 160, and Figure 161).

First are the Charged Nanoprobes. These are used to upgrade components on your Vi’dar and to purchase other items under this tab (Figure 163). You purchase the Charged Nanoprobes using Inert Nanoprobes (Figure 164) which are obtained by defeating Borg hostiles (Figure 162).

Next are the Active Nanoprobes. These are used to upgrade your Borg officers. You purchase the Active Nanoprobes using Inert Nanoprobes (Figure 165) which are obtained by defeating Borg hostiles (Figure 162).

Next are the Independent Credits. Independent Credits, which are used to level up your Independent Officers, are one of the hardest resources to obtain and this is one of the best options for obtaining them. You can purchase the Independent Credits using Charged Nanoprobes which are described above (Figure 166).

Next up is the Latinum Antique Refinery. This claim box becomes visible and available once you upgrade your Vi’dar to Tier 7 or higher. There are some nice rewards to be claimed here some of which are extremely rare such as the: Epic Latinum Transwarp Cell and Lucrative Grade 3 Mines Transwarp Cell. The Epic Latinum Transwarp Cell (Figure 169) gets you access to special systems and the Lucrative Grade 3 Mines Transwarp Cell (Figure 170) gets you access to systems with fast Grade 3 mines. These fast Grade 3 mine systems are: Perek (Crystal), Forin (Ore), or Mira (Gas).

To purchase the chest in the Latinum Antique Refinery you need Latinum Antique (Figure 167) which is very hard to get. You can only obtain this resource by finding and killing rare Borg Hostiles. NOTE: These rare Borg Hostiles are found in Borg systems and behave similar to faction scouts.

Lastly, all items in this tab, once selected, have a reset timer of 22 hours (Figure 173 and Figure 174).
