Faction Reputation

Lastly, we have the daily Faction Reputation options. You get to the daily Faction Reputation options by clicking on the Events button in the upper right of the main screen (Figure 228). Then on the next screen scroll to the right until you see the Daily Events box (Figure 229). Once you click on the Daily Events box, scroll to the right on the next screen until you see the three Faction Reputation boxes (Figure 230). Choose which Faction Reputation Event that you wish to join by clicking the green Join Now button. Simple right? I have forgotten this one many times!

NOTE: You may want to only join the Faction Reputation for the Faction you are currently working on as discussed in the article Faction Tips: Gaining Respected Status in All Three Factions. Also, notice that you must join the Faction Reputation each day when they reset at 12 noon EST (Figure 230).

To achieve the different tiers of any Faction Reputation Event, you need to spend resources: Parsteel, Tritanium, or Dilithium (Figure 231). This spending of the required resources can be accomplished when: repairing your ships, conducting some research, or upgrading some station modules. Conducting research or upgrading station modules can complete some of your Daily Goals as discussed in the Daily Goals section of this article.
