Understanding the Syndicate Affiliation

Obtaining XP and Tier Level Bonuses

Introduction

As you can see from the graphic above there is a new Syndicate feature. Is it good? Or bad? What does it do? How does it work? Where is it found? Let’s explore it together so you can decide for yourself.

Where Do You Find It?

The Orion Syndicate only becomes available at Operations Level 10. Once you reach this Operations Level all players will gain access to Orion Syndicate. Then you will see the Syndicate icon on the top left hand of the screen. You get to the Syndicate Affiliation by clicking on this Syndicate button (Figure 2). This button will also show your current Orion Syndicate Affiliation Tier level.

Syndicate Affiliation Level

The next two things to understand are Syndicate XP and Syndicate Tier. Syndicate XP are the points needed to level up your Syndicate Tier. Syndicate Tier refers to the level of each phase of your progression within the Syndicate Affiliation. Each player will begin at Tier 0.

Increasing your Syndicate XP is a simple task. You just need to click on the free Daily Chest option in the Syndicate Affiliation section to receive your daily allotment of Syndicate XP (Figure 3). Once you claim your daily Syndicate XP the reset timer is 22 hours (Figure 4). Note: Your daily Syndicate XP allotment will increase as your Syndicate Tier level increases.

What Does Syndicate Affiliation Level Do For You?

You will receive a number of benefits at each Syndicate Tier. Some of these benefits are stat increases. These increases scale with your Operations Level. For example, if a stat benefit is unlocked at Operations Level 10 the buffs will continue to increase with your Operations Level. An example of stat increases based on Operations Level can be seen in Figure 5.

Syndicate Tier Level Bonuses

At each Syndicate Tier Level, you earn different bonuses. You can see each of the bonuses for each tier from Syndicate Tier Level 1 to Syndicate Tier Level 25 in Figure 6 thru Figure 15 below.

Some Important Bonuses

One of the more important bonuses is the Stat Bonus mentioned earlier. And, as mentioned earlier, the Stat Bonus percentages will depend on your Operations Level. Another good set of bonuses are the Daily Goal Multipliers. These bonuses can be found at various Syndicate XP levels (Figure 16).

You may have noticed the Orion Syndicate icon (Figure 17) in your Daily Goals List (Figure 18). This indicates which Daily Goals can potentially have a multiplier benefit applied. To have the benefit applied you must have reached the appropriate Syndicate Tier level. Note: You will see the icon on all bundles that can be affected by the Syndicate Tier bonuses whether or not they are currently affected. The amount displayed in the rewards preview screen will show you the exact rewards you will get upon claiming that daily goal. Also, you do not have to wait for the Daily Goals to reset to benefit from the multiplier. The Daily Goals multiplier will be applied as soon as you claim your rewards from the relevant Syndicate Tier. Note: The multiplier will not be applied if you have completed a Daily Goal that you have not claimed yet and you then claim a Syndicate Tier bonus. The relevant Syndicate Tier bonus must be claimed before you complete the relevant Daily Goal in order for the bonus to be applied.

Another bonus that can be found at various Syndicate Tier levels are the Officer Presets. The first Officer Preset can be found Syndicate Tier Level 4 (Figure 19). In order to get more Officer Presets, you have to reach Syndicate levels: 9, 12, 15, 17, 20, 22, and 25. More details on the officer presets can be found at the article: Officer Presets Are Here.

Summary

So, is the Orion Syndicate Affiliation worth the effort? In my opinion, yes. Although you can buy packs to speed up your progress, this is not required. You can increase your Syndicate XP by claiming the Daily chest. The bonuses are permanent and some of them will increase as your Operations Level increases. Who doesn’t like free bonuses?
